in my house i feel that freedom of speech is important but it can only guarantee an audience of one.
i know women need to vent and i try to give them as much space as possible without interjecting any judgement on the validity of what is been vented in other words i give space for these events as best i could and try to listen with an open mind because there truely is a message there some where but i admit i'm a dense male to the female of our species.
but i tend to shy away from over venting and cringe at being subjected to them and so while a person has the right to free speech in my house they don't have the right to an audience of more than one.
I feel that children need to feel free to say what ever is on their mind and not fear their parents anger at what they say and feel but what they say will be looked at with respect for the opinion expressed.
Of course that type of condition is idea and unsupported by the bible wise sayings of beat your kid if they piss you off and don't follow orders.

the first ever billboard has been crowd funded on reddit and will be going up.
i'm curious to know if it will cause a spark in any jw's who already have questions or doubts and lead them to research into the child abuse cases and lead them to the thought that the wt and gb are not inspired or gods mouthpiece.
at the very least it will provide people a topic of conversation and questions to the jw's who knock on their door: "so whats this whole sex abuse in kingdom halls thing about i saw on the billboard down the road?
I think this bill board is a good investment in fact.
I think this type of thing may catch on and in strategic places this could do a lot to reform these old codgers on the GB and make them do something substancial in the way of protecting the children. This sign certainly puts the GB's ass in a sling and rubbing their collective noses in it.

I leave out the last part. When telling a lie try to avoid pouring it on to thick. If they ask you questions that put you in danger of getting DF's say something like this 'I rather not say because it is personal' or 'I'm surprised you asked that question why did you ask it by the way?'

i think with all this change we see occurring with the watchtower corporation's to deal with things means they are in financial trouble and are seeking to consolidate their real estate holdings for easy sale if needed to stay financially solvent.. they will stop or slowly decrease the door to door work and focus on the material potential of each member young and old for what ever they can get out of them.
this will lead to more leaving under their tyranny.

Good point! we don't know for certain so that offer room for speculation.
It just seems to me that things may not be well in spiritual paradise as lay off increase down sizing work force yet building more buildings spending vasts amount of money robbing all the congregation of their savings forcing pledges, and what not.
This whole corporation is running on big delusions and wishful thinking so they are bound to make bad business forecasting decisions and over reactions on many fronts.
Things seem really bad to me no matter what the propaganda machine of the WT prints.
